Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

An IOP is a type of mental healthcare that is considered one step up from traditional outpatient therapy where you will be in therapy for three hours a day, three days a week, and a weekly Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner visit. You will receive nine hours of treatment per week for between six to ten weeks.

In our IOP, we strive to provide a comprehensive and intensive therapeutic environment that fosters healing and growth for individuals grappling with a spectrum of mental health challenges. Our program is meticulously structured to offer a robust framework of support, encompassing both individual and group therapy sessions, with a dedicated focus on personalized care and evidence-based interventions.

Participants engage in a dynamic blend of therapeutic modalities tailored to address their unique needs and circumstances. Through collaborative efforts with experienced clinicians, individuals embark on a journey of self-discovery, skill-building, and empowerment, aimed at facilitating lasting positive change.

Key components of our IOP include:

  1. Individual Therapy: Participants receive one-on-one sessions with licensed therapists, allowing for personalized exploration of underlying issues, development of coping strategies, and goal-setting for recovery.

  2. Group Therapy: Our group sessions provide a supportive and validating environment where individuals can connect with peers facing similar challenges. Through shared experiences and mutual support, participants gain insight, perspective, and encouragement in their healing journey.

  3. Psychiatric Evaluation and Medication Management: Scheduled visits with our Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ensure comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and tailored treatment plans, including medication management when appropriate.

  4. Holistic Approach: Our program emphasizes the importance of addressing the interconnected facets of mental health, including physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Through holistic interventions, we aim to promote balance, resilience, and overall wellness.

  5. Continuum of Care: Upon completion of the IOP, individuals have the opportunity to transition to aftercare programs, ongoing therapy, support groups, or community resources, ensuring sustained progress and support beyond the structured program.

Our IOP is designed to cater to a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to:
