Dr. Haqqani graduated from medical school in 1993 and graduated as Chief Resident in June 2004 from John Peter Smith Hospital, in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Haqqani has an extensive background in Psychiatry serving as Medical Director of Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, in Dallas, Texas, as Inpatient Psychiatrist at Sundance Hospital, in Arlington, Texas, Inpatient Psychiatrist at Oceans Plano Hospital and Medical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at John Peter Smith Hospital, in Forth Worth, Texas. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at the North Texas Health Science Center at John Peter Smith Hospital and a staff psychiatrist at the North Texas Affiliated Medical Group, in Forth Worth, Texas. Dr. Haqqani was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Texas M.D Anderson Cancer Center-Department of Behavioral Sciences, in Houston, Texas. Dr. Haqqani is licensed in Indiana and Texas and has a Board Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He received the Resident of the Year Award served as Chief Resident in 2003-2004 and graduated with honors from medical school and is a member of the Fellow American Psychiatric Association.
